Visit to New York, USA

We visited New York, USA from February 15th to February 22nd. The purpose of this visit was to hold a final meeting for the upcoming tournament in the Dominican Republic on July 27th and 28th.
SHIHAN Montalvo from the Dominican headquarters, SHIHAN Cuebas from Puerto Rico, and SHIHAN Jeter from New York, USA, were among the top representatives present at the location. Additionally, SHIHAN Matos, SHIHAN Gariba, SHIHAN Bruno, SHIHAN Jesus Done from Boston, SHIHAN Cafe, who is a teacher to SHIHAN Jeter, and SHIHAN Bienvenido from Samana, Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic gathered. From Haina, leaders such as Carlixto Peña, Hernandez, Isabel, Angelica, and Bienvenido Faulkner also joined the assembly.
We discussed in detail the operation of the tournament under the guidance of the SOKE, including tournament officials, personnel, courts, and referees.
Regarding referees, practical instruction was conducted based on the YUSHINMON Referee Regulations for fair refereeing. The referees' mindset and actions were confirmed in detail.
In the evening, we reunited with the children of Ozone Park Dojo for the first time since May last year. At the strong request of the children, SOKE himself conducted instruction of KATA; ANANKU and WANSHU.
During the night, further in-depth instruction, including practical training in KATA and refereeing, was provided to the 20 or so national instructors and leaders who participated in the earlier meeting.
This time, a new dojo of SHIHAN Jesus Done, 4th Dan, was approved in Boston, and preparations for the opening of a new dojo by SHIHAN Jeter in New Jersey were completed.
After returning, we received prompt reports that approval for the dojo opening had been granted by the state of New Jersey.
During the visit this time, not only were there discussions about the tournament, but throughout the entire visit, instruction was given to ensure that the discipline of the YUSHINMON Shorinji-ryu Karate-Do were solidified.
