It is with great sorrow that we have received the sad news of the sudden and untimely passing of HANSHI Miguel Peña in December of last year.

HANSHI Peña will remain in our hearts forever.

I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and convey our deepest sympathy to his family, and to all of you at Dominica DOJO.

HANSHI Peña dedicated his life to promote KARATE in Latin America, and was widely recognized as the father figure of KARATE in the region.

I have known and worked with him for many years, privately and officially. I have always admired his commitment.

We pray that you can find the strength to endure this tragic loss.
