YUSHINMON Prayer Ceremony for Success and Development: SOHONZAN Opening Announcement

On the wonderful day of February 16th, 2020, at the SOHONBU (the headquarters) dojo, we had the chief priest of Hikawa Shrine come and chant a Shinto prayer NORITO for YUSHINMON's success and development.
The ceremony was held solemnly with the presence of SOKE NAKAZAKI, the family of YUSHINMON, and the guests that have an especially deep relationship with YUSHINMON.
The prayer was chanted by the priest, the TAMAGUSHI was offered, and the GOJUSSHIHO and BASSAI katas were performed by selected junior high school student players as the dedication. The ceremony was smoothly executed.

The establishment of SOHONZAN (the Grand Headquarters) has been planned meticulously by SOKE NAKAZAKI since the establishment of YUSHINMON.
It is thus perfectly timed, given the recent situation where more and more headquarters and branches has been built not only within the country but also all over the world, and considering we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of YUSHINMON next year.

There is a saying that Grand Master ISAMU TAMOTSU repeatedly said to us during his lifetime:

"NAKAZAKI, remember that you have trained under me directly and therefore you and your desciples based in Tokyo are the ones who will carry on my KARATE-DO as DOTO."

We will be strongly united and steadily move forward as SOHONZAN of DOTO SHORINJI-RYU KARATE-DO YUSHINMON.
